Welcome to the world of Enfant Terrible.

Enfant Terrible is a Dutch independent record label, webshop and event organization 
and was founded in 2004. All activities focus on indie / electronic / experimental (pop) music.

Enfant Terrible was one of the first labels to start to give recognition and attention 
to the pioneers of minimal electronics / proto-elektro / avant-garde pop / experimental pop 
from the early 1980's. Next to that we are one of the few labels in this field of music that truly 
invests in the development of new talents in this music tradition.

We bring you the new wave of new wave in all its styles, genres and colors,
beyond rigid definitions, with talents from today. And, as we love traditions we
also re-release lost material from the old days.

We stand for both soothing and disturbing sounds. Sometimes modern and
open-minded, sometimes traditional and conservative.

There are four different series of records we release:

Enfant Terrible limited is the "main" series for limited edition vinyl releases only. 
The Petit Enfant series is only for limited editions of 7" vinyl records and are designed 
in the old style (by hand and with scissors, glue, et cetera). Hex Grammofoon Platen is a
sublabel that continues where the Hex nights stopped. The weirder sounds and also more
guitar orientated tunes will be released in this series.

Enfant Terrible unlimited is there to broaden the spectrum of sounds on Enfant 
Terrible some more. The style and content defines the format of the release in this series. 
Expect anything from playful indie pop to dancefloor orientated elektro tunes. But, always 
fitting within the context of the Enfant Terrible activities. Also non musical expressions and 
artifacts made for special occasions will be presented through this channel.
